Last week I share how exercise can be used as a tool for mental health and today I'm building on that with my favorite products that actually motivate me to WANT to workout. Because let's be honest, that's not always the case!
FAVORITE LEGGINGS:
Feeling good in what I'm wearing is ALWAYS a motivator for me. I also need to be comfortable - I hate when I have to pause a workout to pull my leggings up! These are my favorite leggings to wear for spinning and lifting. Bonus - they don't fall down! The Old Navy option is more affordable and (in my opinion) just as good.

FAVORITE WEIGHTS:
The Bowflex SeletcTech Adjustable Weights were actually on my husband's wishlist for the longest time. He received them for his birthday last year and I've definitely taken advantage of the saying "what's yours is mine" ;) I love that they go from 5-25lbs with a simple click. They're an investment, but actually more affordable than buying multiple sets of weights.
Resistance bands are the perfect on-the-go workout accessory. My family and I are traveling to DC next week and I'm planning to pack a set in my suitcase.
FAVORITE WORKOUTS:
I've been a huge fan of at-home workouts since becoming a mom. Between my work schedule, my husband's schedule, and driving the kids to school in the morning, I don't have time to go to the gym. When we moved into our house almost 4 years ago, we converted a room off the primary bedroom into the gym and it's become my favorite space in the house! But really, you don't need a large space to get in a good sweat session. You may have to get creative - move the furniture out of the way or designate a corner in your kids playroom.
We purchased a Peloton bike during Covid, but if spinning isn't your jam they also offer the app which includes yoga, strength training, outdoor running and more! There are two options depending on your budget. If you purchase a bike, tread or row machine you get the app for free. It's another travel must for me because I can easily access a workout from anywhere!
